‘Choco’ Lozano suffers injury against Real Madrid
The striker from Honduras started for Cádiz in the scoreless draw against Real Madrid, but had to be taken off due to an injury at the end of the break.
The striker from Honduras started the match at the Santiago Bernabeu, but forced manager Álvaro Cervera to make a substitution due to an apparent injury starting the second half.
Three games without scoring for Lozano
In the 46th minute he was replaced by Alvaro Negredo in the scoreless draw between Real Madrid and Cádeiz on matchday 18 of the LaLiga season. Lozano played 45 minutes, but had a tough time against the defenders from the team managed by Carlo Ancelotti and lacked space near the box.
The game was well controlled by Real Madrid because the visiting side had only one chance to score throughout the 90 minutes. With this result Cádiz remains in the relegation zone with 14 points after 18 matches. They sit in 19th place and their next game will be a tough one, because they will host Sevilla after the winter break.
On the other hand, this has been a positive season so far for ‘Choco’ Lozano in his second year at Cádiz. So far this campaign the striker from Honduras has made 16 appearances and scored five goals and provided his teammates with three assists.
