Mauro Icardi scored his first goal in almost three months in Paris Saint-Germain's 3-0 win against SC Feignies in the round of 64 of the Coupe de France over the weekend. The Argentine striker scored from the penalty to give the Paris-based team a 2-0 win and played the full 90 minutes.

Icardi eager to return to Serie A

Truth be told is that the Argentine striker has been relegated to a more secondary role since Lionel Messi arrived in Paris in the summer. Icardi has only made 14 appearances in Ligue 1 so far this campaign and only six of them as a starter. The Argentine has played a total of 838 minutes across all competitions with four goals to his name.

Icardi is not happy being used as a substitute and he would like to return to Serie A in the January transfer window. According to Tuttomercatoweb, Juventus are keen on bringing the 28-year-old to Turin, but they want a six-month loan deal with the option to make the move permanent.

In exchange, Juve would send Arthur to PSG as the Serie A giants are not ready to spend a large sum of money on a player with a delicate personal life. Per the report, his agent and wife, Wanda Icardi, already ‘held talks’ with Juventus.
