Washington safety Everett involved in fatal car crash

Washington Football Team safety Deshazor Everett was found to be driving the vehicle involved in a fatal single-car crash that killed a female passenger on Thursday night.

The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office stated that Everett was driving a 2010 Nissan GT-R when it “left the right side of the roadway, struck several trees, and rolled over” near Ticonderoga Road in Northern Virginia, just outside of Washington D.C.

Hospital treatment

The 29-year-old defensive back  was brought to Reston Hospital Center where he is being treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The Sheriff’s Office said the passenger, Olivia S. Peters, was taken to StoneSprings Hospital where she died from her injuries.

They are still investigating the cause of the crash.

Everett has played with the Washington Football Team since 2015 as a strong safety and special teamer. He is on the second year of a three-year contract with them. The Texas A&M alum was signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent earlier that year before he joined Washington.
