Barcelona face Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final on Wednesday, with manager Xavi Hernández looking to win his first trophy as manager of the Blaugrana.

In a hugely spectacular playing career, Xavi became arguably the greatest player in the history of Spanish football. He will undoubtedly count the World Cup, European championships and numerous Champions League and LaLiga titles as his finer achievements, but won't forget his success in the Spanish Super Cup.

Joining the club as a 12-year-old, Xavi went on to play in the Barça senior team from 1998 to 2015. In the 2005/06 season, he won his first Super Cup with the club.
