NFL: Who is the highest paid quarterback?

In recent years quarterback contracts in the NFL have skyrocketed up to the $450 million paid to Patrick Mahomes. Completely exorbitant figures considering that not that long ago, contracts of 100 million were very rarely seen.
This is mainly due to two factors: the significant income increase the industry has experienced, and the fear of losing a key quarterback for the team. This spiral of continuous salary increases means that the NFL’s ten most paid players are on deals worth a combined $2 billion.

What lies ahead for Patrick Mahomes?
Not only is he on top dollar, but the Chiefs' play maker is currently on the verge of Super Bowl glory. Kansas City are set to face the Cincinnati Bengals in their AFC Championship game this weekend. Indeed the Chiefs are the team that are favored to win it all this year. The question that remains is whether or not the man they call 'Baby GOAT,' can prove that he's worth his salary? Many fans will argue of course that the question has long since been answered, however, we'd recommend watching and waiting as he and his team aim for glory.
