Curry's 21 points in 4th quarter fueled by trash talk

You can let the trash talk get under your skin, or you can use it as inspiration. Stephen Curry prefers the latter, as is shown by his 21-point explosion.

Update:
Curry's 21 points in 4th quarter fueled by trash talk

"I don't react, but it's a little adrenaline rush. Whatever gas that's got to go in the tank to get you out of a low point I'll take."

Those were Stephen Curry's words after he led the Warriors to a win over the Rockets with a 21-point 4th quarter. The gas he's referring to? Kevin Porter Jr.'s trash talk.

The thing about Curry is, he always makes a comeback, even if it seems he's in a slump. The best thing anyone can do when the slump is happening is just wait it out. Perhaps Kevin Porter Jr. forgot that. Curry had only 10 points and one 3-pointer in the first half of the game. In the third quarter, Porter stood over Curry's shoulder and began the trash talk, whilst Curry kept his composure.

For Curry, this was just the boost he needed. In the fourth quarter, he exploded, scoring 21 points (out of his total 40) in the final bit to take the Warriors to a 122-108 victory over the Rockets.

And Curry has left the slump behind.
