Joe Burrow has one eye one the Lombardi Trophy, and one eye on making football history. He could become the first person ever to win a Heisman, a National Championship and a Super Bowl, and he has a chance to do it all within a span of three years.
It's a QB's world
Seven of the last ten Super Bowl MVP awards have been won by quarterbacks dating all the way back to Super Bowl XLVI in 2012. It certainly makes more sense when you take into account that Tom Brady has three of those ten MVP awards, but Eli Manning, Joe Flacco, Nick Foles and Patrick Mahomes have been named MVP on Super Sunday. Will it be Stafford or Burrow headlining the trophy celebration when all is said and done on from Sofi Stadium?
While it won't come as a surprise that other teams were interested in OBJ when he was a free agent, it might raise an eyebrow when you see just who they were.

The Steelers' T.J. Watt knows what the Super Bowl means to fans!
Though he won't be playing in the Super Bowl himself, Pittsburgh Steelers' T.J. Watt surprised one fan in the hospital with two tickets to Super Bowl LVI, which means when the Rams and Bengals face off on Sunday, there will be two fans who are there because of a very special gesture!

From what we've seen across ticketing websites, the average cost for a ticket to Super Bowl LVI is around $9,000. The cheapest we've seen came in at about five grand while the most expensive was a cool $110,000. Compare that to last year's event, when there were fewer seats available due to restrictions, where the average price was just over $8,000.
But as these figures are being bandied about, one question that we've been asked is regarding the entry cost for the very first Super Bowl in 1967. Time to dust down our history books...
Rams or Bengals? The US is divided
OK, so there may be a number of anomalies to this breakdown but when it comes to voting in the US we've become rather familiar in recent years with unfounded claims, so let's roll with it.
Based on this map the state breakdown is Rams 17 - 33 Bengals. That would make for an interesting score!

Foo Fighters virtually set for Super Bowl LVI
Fans will get to experience Foo Fighters like they never have before on Sunday, explains Emily Lee. The band is set to perform a live show in virtual reality following the Super Bowl at 11. pm ET on Horizon Venues, a VR app available on the Meta Quest headsets, as well as on Meta, formerly known as Facebook, social media pages.
Users who access the 180-degrees VR concert via Meta Quest headsets, however, will have the added benefit of being able to create their avatars for the experience, including customized outfits, and have the ability to interact with other fans and play games in a virtual concert lobby.
During the concert, Foo Fighters will perform a song that they've never played live before. Not only that, but they will also play a number of songs that rarely get featured in their live shows.
Von Miller full of 2015 Super Bowl energy
Linebacker Von Miller is back in the Super Bowl, six years after winning MVP honors in the Broncos’ last appearance in the big game. And the twist of football fate that led him to Sunday’s moment at SoFi Stadium — a midseason trade — isn’t lost on him.
“It’s really amazing when I think about it,” Miller said Monday during Super Bowl media interviews.
“When you win something like that, it creates this addiction, and you want (that success) all the time. The last five years (the Broncos) haven’t even been close (to the playoffs), so to come here to the Los Angeles Rams has been a true blessing.”

Rams vs Bengals: who saw it coming?
Neil Paine describes Super Bowl LVI as a truly interesting, if not exactly expected, clash. Do you like star power and ferocious defense? The Los Angeles Rams could be the team for you. In this unconventional matchup, he dives into what our Elo forecast model sees in store on Super Bowl Sunday, as well as the numbers behind why either team could engineer a championship victory.
Did you know? Super Bowl special
- The Super Bowl is the second-highest eating day of the year for Americans. Boom!
- Four teams have never even been to a Super Bowl. Bam!
- Each team is given precisely 108 footballs, split equally for purpose. What?!
For details on these and much more, enjoy this specially crafted video my colleague Jen has put together.
How much was first Super Bowl ticket?
According to our research, the average cost for a ticket to Super Bowl LVI is $9,066. This is much higher than last year’s average price of $8,161, which was probably driven down by the limited seating capacity of the stadium.
And it is a far cry from the average ticket price to the very first Super Bowl in 1967 - a whopping $12.
The cheapest ticket this year costs almost $5,000, while the most expensive one is $110,000 for an 18-person suite.
Prices may still go up in the last few days before the game, as the last five seasons have shown that tickets cost more in the last few days leading up to the Super Bowl.

Rams involved in lowest-scoring Super Bowl ever
The Los Angeles Rams’ most recent appearance in the Super Bowl, in the 2018 season, saw them go down to the New England Patriots in what was the lowest-scoring NFL title decider in history.
With the scores tied at 3-3 going into the final quarter of a defensive battle in Atlanta, Georgia, Sony Michel’s touchdown proved key as the Patriots won 13-3 to claim a joint-record sixth Super Bowl championship.
The highest-scoring Super Bowl ever, meanwhile, was the San Francisco 49ers’ 49-26 win over the San Diego Chargers in the 1994 season.
Bengals out to leave Super Bowl's perennial losers club
The Cincinnati Bengals are one of five NFL franchises to have appeared in multiple Super Bowls without winning the Vince Lombardi Trophy, Opta notes.
The Bengals have a record of two defeats in Super Bowl appearances, in 1982 and 1988. On both occasions, they were beaten by the San Francisco 49ers - a team who were on a run of four NFL championship wins in nine years.
The other teams to have played in more than one Super Bowl without winning any are the Atlanta Falcons and the Carolina Panthers (two appearances each) and the Buffalo Bills and the Minnesota Vikings (four each).
Did you know the players get their own special car to drive around during Super Bowl week? And that each team gets precisely 108 footballs for the Super Bowl?

The Rams’ Matthew Stafford had an 86-95-1 record, while the Bengals’ Joe Burrow was at 12-13-1.

'One more' mentality key for Rams - McVay
Speaking at the Los Angeles Rams’ pre-Super Bowl rally on Monday, head coach Sean McVay said his team’s persistence has been key to their run to Sunday’s NFL title decider.
“Just watching all the different things that these guys have worked through, some of the tough times is when you appreciate this group the most,” McVay said. “I’m so grateful for these guys.
“I can tell after these guys found a way to get it done against the Niners [in the NFC Championship Game], it was just that ‘one more’ mentality.
“They know there’s one more to be able to check that last box off, edge themselves into history in this game and put ourselves in a position to do that. All the confidence in the world in these guys”.
Uzomah rallies fans by ripping off knee brace
Cincinnati's C.J. Uzomah, who is battling to overcome a knee injury ahead of Sunday's Super Bowl, got the Bengals fans going at Monday's pre-game rally. The tight end brought a huge cheer when he theatrically ripped off his knee brace, as if to say: Don't you worry, I'm gonna be just fine.
The Rams will become only the second team in NFL history to play the Super Bowl on home turf when they take on the Bengals at SoFi Stadium this weekend.
Rams' Super Bowl history
Sunday's clash with the Bengals will be the Rams' fifth Super Bowl appearance, but their sole success in the game came in 1999, during their decade-long relocation to St Louis. They've never won the Vince Lombardi Trophy as a Los Angeles team.

The Bengals' Super Bowl history
The Cincinnati Bengals are looking to lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy for the first time in their history on Sunday, having contested the Super Bowl twice before - both times in the 1980s, and both times against the San Francisco 49ers.

Mike Brown: Bengals' "reviled" owner
The Guardian has profiled the Cincinnati Bengals' owner, Mike Brown, whose frugal spending has made him an unpopular figure among the franchise's support. "The fans are thrilled to see their team in the Super Bowl," journalist Dave Caldwell writes, "but they are not quite ready to let go of the lean years, which included footing the bill for a new stadium so Brown would not move the team."

Bengals' Uzomah: "I feel really good"
Cincinnati Bengals tight end C.J. Uzomah says he feels “really good” as he aims to recover from a knee injury to play in Sunday’s Super Bowl. Uzomah is yet to return to practice since being carried off in the Bengals’ AFC Championship Game win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
"It’s been a grind [doing rehab],” Uzomah said on Monday. “It's been a lot of early mornings, late nights of just rehabbing… But I feel really good. I feel really good."

All eyes will be on quarterbacks Matthew Stafford and Joe Burrow when the Rams and the Bengals face off at SoFi Stadium this weekend.
Higbee unlikely to practise this week - McVay
Los Angeles Rams had coach Sean McVay says Tyler Higbee is unlikely to practise this week, as the tight end looks to shake off an MCL sprain suffered in the Rams' NFC Championship Game win over the San Francisco 49ers.
"He's been such a big part of this team," McVay said on Monday. "He's one of those glue guys on this team. I know he will do everything in his power [to make Sunday's game]."
McVay said he will also have to wait until later in the week before knowing whether offensive lineman Joe Noteboom (chest) will be available for the Super Bowl.
However, the Rams coach expressed optimism that defensive lineman Sebastian Joseph-Day, running back Darrell Henderson Jr and cornerback Robert Rochell will all be fit for this weekend's game.
