There’s not long to wait before the Los Angeles Rams face the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI. Millions-dollar-bets have already been placed, and literally billions are at stake on Sunday.

The Nevada Gaming Control Board said the state’s sports books registered over $1 billion in bets each month for October, November, and December last year.
The American Gaming Association meanwhile said the amount of bets Americans plan to place on the Super Bowl this year is up 78% from last year, reaching a staggering total of $7.6 billion.
Betting records are already being set- furniture store owner Jim McIngvale, also known as “Mattress Mack”, has placed the largest bet that Caesars Sports has ever taken at $5 million. This is on top of the $4.5 million he had already wagered on the Bengals winning the trophy.
Canadian rapper Drake is betting on the other side, putting over $1 million worth of Bitcoin on the Rams.

The Rams have more experience than the young Bengals. The Cincinnati team has an average age of 25.8, the youngest Super Bowl team since 1980. Los Angeles on the other hand has a mean age of 27.6, within the range considered to be a player’s prime. Because of this advantage, they are the favorites to win.
