Barcelona: Adrian Gill in talks over Camp Nou contract
The Colorado native has been developing in Barcelona’s youth academies and is close to signing his first professional contract with the LaLiga side.
The future of the United States men’s national team looks good moving forward with many Americans playing at clubs around Europe at a very young age. Not only are they being noticed early, but several United States internationals are playing at the biggest clubs like Weston McKennie with Juventus, Sergiño Dest at Barcelona and Christian Pulisic with Chelsea.
Adrian Gill a player to watch for the USMNT
The 16-year-old joined Barcelona’s youth academy in July 2021 and has been working his way up. Gill has imprssed the coaches in Barça's academy and is close to signing his first professional contract.
A midfielder who has been wearing the number 10 jersey at Barça’s famed La Masia academy, the Colorado native, who turned 16 last month, is already in talks to sign his first contract with the Spanish giants in the next few weeks.
The teenaged midfielder has been part of the US U17 set up since last year. He was called up last year for training camp under new head coach Gonzalo Segares in preparation for the 2023 FIFA U17 World Cup in Peru.
