Austrian Bundesliga leaders and reigning champions RB Salzburg on Wednesday reported a coronavirus outbreak affecting 15 members of the club’s playing and technical staff, two weeks ahead of their Champions League last 16 return leg away at Bayern Munich.

According to a club statement, those affected by the outbreak have reported light symptoms and are in quarantine in line with Austrian government guidelines. Salzburg’s training session on Wednesday was cancelled and players given a programme to work on at home instead.
