Being booed at their home stadium has to be a new low for the Lakers, who suffered their ninth loss in 12 games on Sunday night.

Playoff hopes looking not so hopeful for the Lakers

Los Angeles lost 123-95 to the New Orleans Pelicans and are now sitting at 27-33 and their shot at the playoffs isn't looking superb. With this loss, they are down 2 and a half games to even make the play-in tournament and have still 22 left to play that won't be easy. They've got the Dallas Mavericks, LA Clippers, and Golden State Warriors coming up next, to start.

Russell Westbrook and LeBron James gave up seven turnovers each in the loss to the Pelicans. At one point during the game, the announcers say, "18 turnovers for the Lakers. Let's just see if we can get to 30, why not? Let's start rooting for the turnovers". Ouch. At that same moment was when the crowd started booing. In the end, they had 23 turnovers, resulting in 25 points for the Pelicans.
