Not even Ingram expected to hit this buzzer beater shot

Brandon Ingram's buzzer beater just before the half left even him surprised. The Pelicans may have lost in the end, but this shot will stay in our memories.

The Denver Nuggets beat the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday, 138-130, much thanks to Nikola Jokic, who accounted for 46 of those points.

The Nuggets had a pretty nice lead in the beginning, but the Pelicans came back in the second quarter, and thanks to a half-court buzzer beater by Brandon Ingram, the Pelicans came within five points going into the half. With two Nuggets players on him, Ingram grabbed the ball and just sort of tossed it 45 feet towards the basket. The shot was done so nonchalantly, you can tell by the look on Ingram's face that not even he expected it to actually go in.

Ingram ended the game with 38 points for the Pelicans, who were on a four-game winning streak before coming to Denver. It was a close game, going into overtime on a missed shot by Nuggets player Jeff Green. Jokic took over in overtime, giving Denver seven more points, and it was Monte Morris who sealed the deal with a three-pointer.
