Von Miller prioritizes staying with L.A. Rams but could explore more options
After helping the Los Angeles Rams make their way to Super Bowl 56, pass-rusher Von Miller is prioritizing finishing his career in L.A. ahead of free agency.
Since Super Bowl 56 concluded, the news about where L.A. Rams’ Von Miller will sign has been nothing but hot.
As this will be the first time Miller could test free agency, the veteran edge rusher could consider multiple teams to sign with. However, Miller revealed that the Rams are a priority for him, “first and foremost,” before exploring any other options.
Why does Von Miller want to stay with the Rams?

Besides mentioning that L.A. has been “really good” to the eight-time Pro-Bowler, the Rams, who acquired Miller midseason in a trade with the Denver Broncos, were also a big part of Miller’s success this season.
At the time of his trade, Miller was not having a high season, but Los Angeles saw past his current conditions, and gave up second and third-round picks for the 32-year-old. After much criticism for the team’s decision, Miller proved all doubters wrong with a stellar season, recording four sacks, six tackles for loss and six quarterback hits in four games.
Los Angeles has a strong reason to want to re-sign the three-time first-team All-Pro, and so does his prior team, the Broncos. A return to Colorado wouldn’t only be familiar to both parties, but it would also be a good way for Miller to end his career: returning home, as many fans said on his latest instagram post.
Will Von Miller return home to Denver?
To many fans’ surprise, only a few hours after Miller hinted on instagram a potential return to Denver, the Broncos acquired Russell Wilson in a huge trade with the Seattle Seahawks. Fans and NFL experts are “fully convinced the man is coming home,” according to some.
Per sources, the Broncos and the Rams are not the only ones interested in Miller. Another L.A. team is also behind the number one active player with the most sacks in the league, the Chargers.
