Unbeaten in Europe, but suffering in Turkey
Meanwhile, Galatasaray are still unbeaten in the 2021-22 Europa League, grabbing 12 points from a possible 18 as group stage winners despite having to face teams like Marseille, Lazio, and Lokomotiv Moscow.
However, their situation in the Turkish league is very different, as they are currently sitting 12th, with 35 points after 28 games. Their poor numbers led the Turkish club to replace Fatih Terim with Domènec Torrent in January.
Galatasaray's 10-game unbeaten streak in this season's Europa League since entering in the qualifiers should encourage the team, but their other reality is that it is now 10 matches in all competitions without a clean sheet for Torrent's side.
