AS USA's Gustavo García offers a rundown of the key deals done on in the NFL on Wednesday, day 10 of the free agency period.
Tyreek Hill
Hill’s move to the Miami Dolphins took place with the same speed that the wide receiver shows out on the field. A few hours after the Kansas City Chiefs allowed ‘Cheetah’ to look for a trade, the Dolphins handed over five draft picks in exchange for the West Alabama product.
Malcolm Butler
After sitting out the 2021 season, having announced his retirement, Butler has returned to the NFL with the New England Patriots. The veteran cornerback spent his first four years as a professional in New England, before departing amid differences with head coach Bill Belichick.
Carlos Watkins
The Dallas Cowboys continue to amass defensive talent. Watkins, who played for Dallas in 2021, has signed a one-year extension after appearing 15 times (14 as a starter) and registering 32 tackles and one sack.
Justin Coleman
The veteran of seven NFL seasons returns to the Seahawks four years after leaving Seattle. The 28-year-old cornerback arrived in the league with the Patriots in 2015, before joining the Seahawks for the first time in 2017. He then played for the Detroit Lions and the Dolphins, before finally returning to Lumen Field.
