NCAA Baseball Week 7 Standings

Week 7 sees an almighty reshuffle in the top five college baseball programs after Tennessee swept top-ranked Ole Miss to stake their own claim

Update:
Week 7 sees an almighty reshuffle in the top five college baseball programs after Tennessee swept top-ranked Ole Miss to stake their own claim

In a historic moment, the Tennessee Volunteers climbed from number five to number one after sweeping former top team Ole Miss to dethrone the Rebels. This marks the first time the Vols have been at the top of the rankings in the eight-year history of the list.

Tennessee is now riding a 15-game win streak going into their midweek contest against Western Carolina on Wednesday, and Tennessee’s 6-0 SEC start is their best in more than fifty five years.

Arkansas climbed one spot to number two after their taking the series against Missouri, and Vanderbilt tumbles to number nine after dropping their series to the Gamecocks. Ole Miss fell ten spots with their losses to Tennesse and LSU climb off the floor with wins over Florida, to put those two schools at 13 and 14 respectively

Stanford and Mississippi State both fell out of the rankings and made way for Miami and Oregon to enter at 17 and 21. The reigning national champions are having a rough start to the season and have lost series to Long Beach State, Tulane, and Georgia so far this year.
