Anitta withdraws from Coachella 2025 lineup

Anitta fans will be disappointed to learn that she won’t be appearing at next month’s Coachella festival at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California.

The Brazilian singer posted a message on X to inform fans that she has pulled out at the last minute. “I was really looking forward to being at Coachella this year, but due to unexpected personal reasons, I won’t be able to perform,” she explained.

She added: “I’m truly grateful to the festival for the invitation, their understanding, and continued support.” In a follow-up post, the ROMEO songstress went on to say that she hopes “to have the opportunity to join you all in the future and share that special moment together”.

Anitta was confirmed as one of the artists to appear on Saturday 12 and 19, alongside Green Day, Charli XCX, MisFits, Sam Fender and Ivan Cornejo among others.

She has appeared twice at the festival - performing solo for the first time in 2022 with guest appearances from Saweetie and Snoop Dogg, and last year when she joined Peso Pluma during his set for a rendition of their collaboration, BELLAKEO.

So far this year, Anitta has yet to perform outside of her native Brazil Her last concert was at CarnaRildy in Rio during Carvival earlier this month.

She is due to appear at Baja Beach Fest 2025 in Rosarito, Mexico in early August but otherwise has no other shows lined up for the time being.

Global superstar Lady Gaga will headline both Fridays, promising unforgettable performances. Joining her are icons such as Missy Elliott, indie sensation Benson Boone, The Marías, K-pop star LISA, the funky vibes of Parcels, the enigmatic FKA Twigs, Marina, and many others.

Saturday, April 12 & 19

Saturday’s main act will be none other than Green Day, bringing their legendary raw punk energy to the stage. Other notable artists scheduled to perform include Charli XCX, K-pop powerhouse ENHYPEN, the ever-entertaining T-Pain, Latin alternative artist El Malilla, Rawayana, and more.

Sunday, April 13 & 20

The closing act on both Sundays will feature the chart-topping Post Malone. The lineup is packed with talent, including Megan Thee Stallion, EDM favorite Zedd, Mexican corrido star Junior H, BLACKPINK’s Jennie, the groovy Polo & Pan, R&B artist Ty Dolla Sign, Nigerian sensation Rema, and many more incredible artists.
