Becky G seen without engagement ring at iHeartRadio Music Awards
Becky G’s opted not to wear her engagement ring on Monday night as she took home Best Latin Pop/Reggeaton Song of Year.
On the same day her fiancé Sebastian Lletget issued a public apology, Becky G ditched her engagement ring as she accepted an award at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

The 26-year-old was seen walking the red carpet by herself while wearing a black Julien Macdonald gown.
Also absent was the engagement ring Lletget gave her when the couple got engaged back on December 9, 2022.
The move comes after the soccer player was accused of cheating by the Instagram account @ja29poo, who claimed they hooked up with Lletget in February.
The account wrote that they couldn’t post all of the alleged proof given some were “very intimate”.
This prompted Lletget to issue a lengthy apology on social media, stating that a “a 10 minute lapse in judgement results in an extortion plot.”
“Since this person did not get what they wanted it has now become a public social media spectacle filled with more lies than any truth and false posts aimed at the love of my life, the one person who I should never take for granted or put at risk,” he wrote.
Although he didn’t offer further details on the alleged incident, he did state that he pushed “boundaries of lines that should never be crossed”. He concluded by apologizing to his fianceé.
Becky G has remained silent
Becky G has yet to comment on the scandal, though the fact she was spotted without her engagement ring at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on Monday night is something.
The singer also attended the ceremony by herself, accepting the award for Best Latin Pop/Reggeaton Song of Year for ‘Mamiii’.
She accepted her award with confidence, stating that her win and song shows “that when women come together in this industry we are capable of not just making hit songs, but of making history and setting an example.
“When we come together we are powerhouses who are able to see each other differently and share the light,” she added.
‘Mamiii’ was released in February 2022 and sees Becky G joined by Colombian singer Karol G.
It’s the third single from her 2022 studio album ‘Esquemas’, and peaked at number 15 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
