Britney Spears is in the process of releasing a book, but not everyone is thrilled about it. It seems that many people feel thrown under the bus and uneasy given her recent behavior on social media.

“Britney is brutally honest in the book — there are a lot of nervous A-listers,” an insider told the US Sun reporters.

“Strongly worded legal letters have been sent to the publishers by people who know Britney and who fear what she has written.”

The source added that not only is there “no movement” on the book “at the moment,” but there are also new concerns over when “it will eventually be able to come out.”

Triumph or terrifying?

“Britney’s book is a story of triumph,” one source told Page Six.

“It will cover her most vulnerable moments, her childhood – being a little girl with big dreams – her breakup with Justin Timberlake, the moment she shaved her head, and her battle with her family over her conservatorship.”

After recent statements from her sons, Sean Preston Federline, 17, and Jayden James Federline, 16, it seems there’s a disagreement over whether the conservatorship was really blown out of proportion and manipulated to seem like something other than a cautious father looking out for his daughter.

“Britney lived her life in the public eye but there are relationships and people she had encounters with who she managed to keep under the radar, including some massive film star names and people from the music world,” added the source.

At Britney’s latest wedding to husband Sam Asghari, 29, many celebrities were seen on the grounds, including Madonna, Paris Hilton, and Selena Gomez.

“She has wanted to go all out with this book and tell her truth, and that’s what has people worried.”

The $15 million dollar book deal was signed after enlisting ghostwriter Sam Lansky to help her pull together the ideas. She hinted that there are three versions of the story already, and it’s not completed yet.

“It is also a story of survival, finding her way out of the crippling conservatorship to finding happiness with her husband Sam Asghari,” the source added.

The book was originally meant for release in February but is now expected to come out at the end of the year.
