Who is Clara Pierce?

Now, the internet is rampant with rumors that Miley Cyrus may have discreetly released an album under an entirely new identity, Clara Pierce.

The speculation began on April 26.

Fans had discovered an album called ‘Down With Me’ by an unknown artist named Clara Pierce, released March 10, the same day as Cyrus’ latest album, ‘Endless Summer Vacation’, whose voice sounds strikingly like Miley Cyrus.

“Miley Cyrus is pulling a Hanna Montana on us all once again,” one TikTok fan by the name of shanecardinalofficial commented as he referenced ‘Down With Me’. “Just go listen to the songs.”

“She’s speaking at the beginning [of ‘I’ll Never Hurt You Again’] and it’s unmistakably Miley Cyrus.”

Pierce’s album has since been removed from streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music.

More evidence of Miley Cyrus as Clara Pierce?

Several other fans have posted similar findings on social media, as netizens continue to speculate whether Clara Pierce is indeed Miley Cyrus.

Sparked on by shanecardinalofficial’s encouragement to go and listen to the songs, some comments highlighted similarities in other Pierce songs on the 12-track album, such as Pierce’s tune ‘See You Again’, which is also the name of a Miley Cyrus song from her debut album, ‘Meet Miley Cyrus.’

Pierce also has a song titled ‘Without You’, as does Cyrus, from her 2021 collab with The Kid Laroi.

Fans further pointed out that Pierce released a song called ‘Sagittarius’, and Cyrus has a Sagittarius astrology sign, plus there is even a Miley shout-out — “Miley, what’s good now?”.

However, others warn this could be another symptom of Artificial Intelligence influencing the music industry.
