Fans of Netflix’s ‘Formula 1: Drive to Survive’ won’t have to wait long to watch Season 5 of the hit series.
Ever since the show premiered on Netflix back in 2019, it’s proven to be a huge success for the streaming platform, as well as the sport.
A new generation of fans have been sucked into the behind the scenes look at the pinnacle of motorsport, with the United States proof of that. F1 will hold three races in America in 2023, with the eagerly-awaited Las Vegas Grand Prix set for November 19.
When will ‘Drive to Survive’ Season 5 be released?
Netflix have confirmed that Season 5 will premiere on Friday February 24, 2023, meaning fans don’t have to wait long to tune in.
The release comes while teams and drivers take part in pre-season testing in Bahrain. Although they’re gearing up for the 2023 F1 campaign, the new season of ‘Drive to Survive’ will focus on everything that happened in 2022.
The season saw Mercedes’ dominance come to an end, with Ferrari proving to be Red Bull and Max Verstappen’s biggest challengers. However, in the end, the Scuderia were unable to stop the Dutchman from becoming a two-time World Champion.
