Good news for Bruce Springsteen fans: 80 new songs to be released on the “Tracks II: The Lost Albums” collection
The collection of 83 songs, available as a limited-edition nine LP, seven CD set and digitally, and is now available to preorder. Here’s a taster.

Long considered the Holy Grail of Bruce Springsteen’s extensive back catalog, Sony will be releasing a treasure trove of unreleased material later this summer.
Tracks II: The Lost Albums will hit stores on June 27. Unlike Tracks, the box set released in 1999 which featured a selection of outtakes and B-sides, this collection includes seven entirely unreleased albums, recorded between 1983 and 2018, and completed during the Covid pandemic.
Springsteen’s treasure trove of unheard material
As The Boss explains: “‘The Lost Albums’ were full-length records, some of them even getting mixed and unreleased. I’ve been listening to this music for years, both for myself and for my close friends. I’m glad they’re finally getting a chance to hear them. I hope they enjoy them.”
‘Faithless’ movie soundtrack
The collection opens with LA Garage Sessions ‘83 - 18 outtakes and unreleased takes from the Born in the USA sessions recorded at The Garage, Hollywood Hills between August 1982 through April 1983.
Also included is the soundtrack to Faithless, a movie that was ultimately scrapped, as well as Springsteen’s forays into country on Somewhere North of Nashville, recorded in May 1995.
Perfect World completes the set - a compilation of songs co-written with Joe Grushecky in the 1990s and early 2000s. “Perfect World is a record I pieced together from work I had held for this project. I wanted just a little fun, noise, and rock ‘n’ roll to finish the package,” he says.
