Hollywood designer Jerry Lorenzo, better known for his fashion brand, Fear of God, revealed his next collaboration at the annual Hollywood Bowl.

Fear of God and Adidas

Fear of God signed a long-term partnership contract with leading sportswear company Adidas in late 2020, but fans have yet to see any progress, except for the exclusive release of Innersect Shanghai’s ‘Athletics’ collection.

Lorenzo has been sporting Adidas gear out and about as of late, wearing BOOST-cushioned sneakers from Adidas – both the original UltraBOOST and Y-3 PURE BOOST ZG Knit.

The collection finally unveiled

Finally, in March 2023, glimpses into the early samples were leaked online — to which Fear of God emerged from the creative space to address his audiences.

Subsequently, the designer told Complex publication that fans can expect the unveiling of the collection at the upcoming 2023 Hollywood Bowl.

The Adidas collection marks Fear of God’s eighth fashion line.

The Celebrity Bowl reveal

True to his word, Fear of God revealed the Adidas collaboration at the Hollywood Bowl, to audiences such as Ye, Pusha T, and several other Hollywood celebrities.

Lorenzo had the upcoming basketball shoes modeled in two different color tones, similar to the designer’s previous designs, Fear of God 1 and Fear of God Raid, as he develops his signature style.

The shoe has “minimal lines, unobtrusive branding, and thick cupsoles,” as per Sneaker News.

Pricing and release date is still to be announced, but fans can check out the footwear here.

Lorenzo’s previous work

Lorenzo has worked at Diesel and as an LA party promoter, and as a designer has collaborated with Vans, Kanye West on his brand ‘YEEZUS’ from 2013 to 2014, and Justin Bieber for his 2016 and 2017 ‘Purpose’ tours.

The designer also signed a partnership agreement with Nike in 2017, and designed several shoes including the Nike Air FEAR OF GOD 1 that sold for $350 USD, the Nike Air Skylon 2, Nike Air FEAR OF GOD Moc, and Nike Air FEAR OF GOD Raid.

Jerry Lorenzo also worked with Converse to design the Chuck 70 through his Fear Of God ESSENTIALS line.
