2026 World Cup final Spain vs Argentina halftime show: Schedule, TV, artists, and how to watch the performances online
All the details on the two-part concert planned for the 2026 World Cup final, with the closing ceremony followed by the halftime show.

The 2026 World Cup final between Spain and Argentina is all set - and it promises to be a historic occasion. Not only because of the soccer on the field, but also because of the spectacular entertainment lineup planned for the closing ceremony and the tournament’s first-ever halftime show.
What time are the closing ceremony and halftime show?
- Closing ceremony: 1:30 p.m. ET/10:30 a.m. PT
- Kickoff: 3:00 p.m. ET/12 noon PT
- Halftime show: 3:45 p.m. ET/12:45 p.m. PT
(The start time of the halftime show is approximate, as it will begin immediately after the referee’s whistle signals the end of the first half.)
The closing ceremony, which will serve as the grand pregame showcase before kickoff, will feature a star-studded lineup designed to put the finishing touches on the tournament.
Acclaimed singer and actress Jennifer Hudson will perform the United States national anthem. Joining her as part of the pregame festivities will be an array of international music stars, including Robbie Williams, Laura Pausini, and Nicole Scherzinger, while actor Tom Cruise is also expected to make a special appearance, helping build the atmosphere inside MetLife Stadium before the players take the field.
How long will halftime last in the World Cup final?
While there had been speculation in recent days that the break could stretch to as long as 30 minutes in a Super Bowl-style format, FIFA has now officially confirmed that halftime will last exactly 17 minutes.
The decision, which has already been communicated to both the Spanish and Argentine federations, is intended to strike a balance between the entertainment spectacle and the competitive flow of the match, ensuring players do not cool down for too long.
Those 17 minutes will include the setup of the stage, performances by Justin Bieber, BTS, Madonna and Shakira - alongside the Triplets Ghetto Kids and other guest artists - and the rapid teardown needed to get the second half underway on schedule.
