Hollywood mourns the death of celebrity hairstylist Kim Vo at 55

Hollywood is in mourning this week. Kim Vo—one of Los Angeles’ most influential and sought‑after celebrity hairstylists—has died at the age of 55, his husband Adeel Khan confirmed in an emotional Instagram post.

Courageous battle

Khan shared a heartfelt statement announcing that Vo passed away after a long battle with cancer: “My beloved husband, best friend, partner in life & business, Kim Vo, has taken his final breath. Diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2018, he fought valiantly, winning many battles along the way and exceeding all medical expectations under the care of Dr. Lawrence Piro and his incredible team at Angeles Clinic and Cedars-Sinai. Ultimately, God decided it was time for our angel on earth to return home.”

He also used the message to share one of Vo’s final wishes with his more than 20,000 followers: “Kim kindly requested in lieu of flowers & other tokens of condolences after his passing, to please channel your love & efforts towards donations for Kim Vō Foundation in support of hair, beauty, and fashion creatives also affected by cancer.”

Tori Spelling leads tributes

Kim Vo had become a household name in Hollywood’s beauty industry, known as the go‑to stylist for countless A‑listers. His client list included Britney Spears, Kate Hudson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Pamela Anderson, and Uma Thurman, according to TMZ.

He also maintained close friendships with many celebrities, including actress Tori Spelling, who shared a touching tribute: “I’m so sorry, he was such an amazing human. Filled with such light and love,” she wrote.
