EUROVISION 2024
How to vote in Eurovision 2024 from the US: How does online voting work?
For the second year in succession, fans from around the globe will contribute to the “Rest of the World” vote at Eurovision.
The 2024 Eurovision Song Contest brings together some of the brightest acts from around Europe for one of the most colourful nights of the year, although viewers from around the world, including in the United States, can vote for their favourite performers from the 26 participating nations.
Who votes in the Eurovision Song Contest?
While juries from different countries will have some say in who wins, fans watching on at home will also play a big role, with a 50-50 split between the two.
Voting is allowed from the start of this year’s contest, which is being held at Malmö Arena in Sweden and starts at 3pm ET / 12 pm PT. While only European-based enthusiasts were traditionally allowed to vote, the last two editions of the contest have opened the voting up to viewers all around the globe.
How can I vote in Eurovision 2024? Does it cost anything?
If you are based in the United States and want to vote for your favourite act, there is only one way to do so - head along to https://www.esc.vote/ and pick the song you like the most. Each voter can allocate a maximum of 20 votes, which can all be for the same song or spread across several.
Each vote costs €0.99 ($1.07), which will be debited from a US bank card.
When the results are announced, votes from the United States will count towards the “Rest of the World” vote, which was introduced for the first time in 2023. All votes received from non-participating countries outside Europe will be tallied up, and added to the top 10 televotes from each participating country to form the viewers’ vote.
