Adele and Rich Paul have been dating for close to two years, but are they set to take the next step in their relationship?
It looks as though wedding bells will soon be ringing for Adele and Rich Paul.
Is Adele engaged to Rich Paul?
Gossip site Deux Moi are reporting that Adele and Rich Paul, who is a sports agent, are planning to tie the knot this summer according to “very reliable sources.”
The couple first went public with their relationship just under two years ago after meeting at a party. They soon began dating, before telling the world they were seeing each other in the summer of 2021.
They made their first public appearance together as they watched the NBA Finals between the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns. Adele later made their relationship Instagram official by posting pictures from NBA star Anthony Davis’ wedding to Marlen P.
Adele documented the night with several photos, including one of her and Paul cuddling up in a photo booth.
Since then Adele and Paul have been spotted at various events together.
Adele’s ring adds to the rumors
The speculation grew over the weekend as Adele continues her residency in Las Vegas. The singer could be seen wearing a huge diamond ring on her wedding finger during a show.
It’s believed she has been wearing the eye-catching piece of jewellery since last February, when she wore it to the 2022 BRIT Awards. Although that was a year ago, the couple have never officially confirmed they are engaged.
After attending the BRITs, Adele appeared on ‘The Graham Norton Show’ and wouldn’t share any information about her relationship status.
“If I was, would I ever tell anyone if I was wasn’t,” she said regarding the engagement rumors.
Adele once again denied rumors she was engaged last August, though she did state that she absolutely wanted to marry Paul.
“I’m obsessed with him,” she told ELLE. “I’m just in looooove! I’m happy as I’ll ever be. I might as well be married.”
Adele was previously married to Simon Konecki after they wed in a secret ceremony in 2016. The singer later announced her divorce from Konecki in March 2021. The two share a 10-year-old son, Angelo.
Adele and Paul attended the Super Bowl
Adele and Paul attended Super Bowl LVII early in February, where the singer became a meme after the cameras panned to her just before Rihanna took the stage, though it wasn’t clear what the singer said.
The singer cleared up any confusion during her ‘Weekends With Adele’ residency in Las Vegas on Friday night, telling the crowd “its hard work being a constant meme.”
She continued: “I was saying, she’s gonna be fine. She’s gonna have some weed and be fine. But clearly she couldn’t have any weed because she was pregnant.”
