Jamie Foxx’s family asks for prayers as medical condition remains undisclosed
The actor’s loved ones ask for people to pray for Foxx, who was hospitalized 3 weeks ago.
Jamie Foxx’s loved ones have made a public appeal for people to “Pray for Jamie”.
The 55-year-old actor was rushed to the hospital on April 12 due to an unknown medical emergency.
His condition, and what caused Foxx to be taken to the hospital, remain under wraps.

Jamie Foxx remains hospitalized for more than 3 weeks after suffering a medical emergency, and according to TMZ, the people closest to him say he needs prayer right now.
Though the Foxx family and the actor’s closest friends have not disclosed details about the actor’s recovery, Jamie’s loved ones have made a simple but powerful appeal to those following the story: “Pray for Jamie”.
Hollywood must adapt in Foxx’s absence
The actor suffered a still undisclosed ‘medical complication’ April 12, 2023, while he was in Atlanta filming ‘Back in Action’, which also stars Cameron Diaz making her big comeback.
It was Corinne Foxx, Jamie’s daughter, who posted an update to social media the following day.
The publication further reported that all the productions Foxx was part of now consider the actor out of commission and are now longer counting on his performance. Since April 12, it has been Foxx’s stuntman shooting in his place for ‘Back in Action’.
Foxx was also hard at work on the FOX channel lyrics game show ‘Beat Shazam’, which will continue on without him at this juncture.
Corinne Foxx, who is a DJ on the ‘Beat Shazam’ show, is also reportedly away from her commitments due to her father’s hospitalization. She is staying close by Jamie Foxx during his time of recovery.
