Jennifer Garner chooses to avoid media about former husband Ben Affleck
The ‘13 Going on 30′ actress says she “works really hard” to keep herself from media related to Affleck.
Jennifer Garner prefers to mind her own business when it comes to reading media stories regarding her former husband, Ben Affleck.
The two were married in 2005 and split in 2018. They share three children, teenage daughters Violet, who is 17, and Seraphina, 14 years old, and an 11-year-old son, Samuel.
Garner has been dating businessman John Miller since 2018, while Affleck married Jennifer Lopez, his former fiancé from two decades ago, in 2022.

In an interview with Stellar Magazine, Garner said that it doesn’t feel good to read gossip about her former husband, or anyone in her family, including herself. Therefore, the actress avoids press hype as much as possible.
“I really work hard not to see either of us in the press,” she told the publication. “It doesn’t make me feel good, even if it’s something nice about one of us,” Garner said.
“I just try to forget that I’m out there in any way, and the same with anyone I love. I don’t need to see anyone in my family made into a meme.”
Garner was asked if she has seen any of the memes circulating on social media about Affleck, to which she replied that she had not.
“Although I’m sure he’s quite meme-worthy, yes!” she added.

After being asked why he decided to run his own company, Affleck told the Hollywood Reporter that he and Garner have remained close, and he has restructured his professional life to accommodate the changes and the priorities in his personal one.
“One of the reasons,” Affleck said, “I’m divorced. I share custody. I don’t want to go to Austin and New Orleans and Georgia anymore and not see my kids. It just doesn’t work.”
These years are too important,” the ‘Air’ actor continued. “If I miss them, I’ll regret it for the rest of my life. And then I thought, ‘OK, well, if I’m in Los Angeles and I’m in an office and I’m doing this work, I can step out for the basketball game or the jazz performance.’”
