John Cena wasn’t recently spotted on the set of his upcoming Prime Video comedy ‘Ricky Stanicky’ looking very different.

The film centres around three friends who invent a character so that they have someone to blame for their misbehavior.

When their significant others start to become suspicious, they hire a washed-up actor to bring Stanicky to live.

Directed by Peter Farrelly, the movie sees Cena star as Stanicky. Zac Efron is also part of the cast in what is his second film with Farrelly following ‘The Greatest Beer Run Ever’, which premiered on Apple TV+ in September 2022.

“I can’t tell you how happy I am to be back in Australia - and, specifically, in Melbourne, where I spent my honeymoon 26 years ago,” said Farrelly in a statement.

“And to finally get to make the movie that I’ve been trying to make for ten years, it’s a dream come true.”

John Cena’s transformed look

Filming is currently ongoing in Melbourne, Australia, and Cena’s look on set has certainly attracted attention.

The 45-year-old was spotted covered in makeup, along with red lipstick, eyeliner and painted on highly-arched eyebrows.

The look was completed with a baggy vest, button down-striped shirt and shorts. As seen in the pictures above, Cena was joined by wife Shay Shariatzadeh.

The couple, who met in early 2019, tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2020. They’ve been spotted taking in what Melbourne has to offer in recent days.

The two were spotted at local restaurants and cafes, along with the National Gallery of Victoria’s Alexander McQueen exhibition according to the Herald Sun.

‘He came in every single day aside from Thursday. I was one of the main people waitressing him,’ a waiter from Degraves Espresso told the outlet.
