Singer-songwriter Kali Uchis recently came out with a new album titled ‘Red Moon in Venus’. The album contains 15 tracks, including collabs with well-known R&B artists Don Toliver, Omar Apollo, and Summer Walker.

Uchis promoted the album’s release in a video posted to her social media earlier today. In the video, Uchis is sweating and working hard, putting up ‘Red Moon in Venus’ posters on a wall.

Though only released yesterday, Uchis’ album is already receiving positive reviews. In a review published by Pitchfork, ‘Red Moon in Venus’ is praised for its embrace of femininity and use of euphoric melodies.

“Red Moon in Venus luxuriates in the most sublime sounds of Uchis’ career. It’s a fantastical record, illustrating lush, lovesick vignettes and high-femme escapism without relinquishing control,” said Gio Santiago, Pitchfork’s Executive Editorial Assistant.
