The music industry is thriving after two quiet years, with musicians releasing new music early in 2023 and many making announcements for upcoming releases in the coming months.

Artists such as Miley Cyrus, Lana Del Rey, Fall Out Boy, Elvis Costello, Death Cab for Cutie, Fatima Al Qadiri, Sharon Van Etten, and Elton John are set to release new music in the first half of 2023.

Miley Cyrus on releasing her tracklist

Miley Cyrus shared her tracklist for the highly anticipated ‘Endless Summer Vacation’. The upcoming studio album is Cyrus’ eighth so far, and will be released on March 10.

The 13-title tracklist will include the demo version of the lead single ‘Flowers’, which has been extremely popular on streaming platforms and is still breaking records. ‘Flowers’ has spent weeks as Spotify’s most-streamed song daily worldwide, with about eight million streams a day.

The album also has songs featuring Sia and Brandi Carlile.

Here’s a look at the rest of the albums set to be released this month.
