Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott legally changing son’s name
The couple has filed the necessary paperwork to change their one-year-old son’s name
Kylie Jenner and ex-boyfriend rapper Travis Scott are finally attempting to legally change their son’s name. Jenner had revealed previously that she and Scott had decided to name their son Aire, after scrapping his previous name.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the couple is requesting that the one-year-old boy’s name be legally changed from Wolfe Jacques Webster to Aire Webster. The documents claim that both Jenner and Travis have signed off and approved the name change.
The documents go on to allege that the couple “regret the initial name choice of Wolf Jacques Webster” and that they believe Aire is a “better fit” for their child.
“Now that Petitioners have had the chance to spend time with their baby, they believe the name Aire Webster is a better fit,” the document explained.
Who is Aire Webster?
Aire was born on February 2, 2022, and is the second child of Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott. The on-and-off-again couple also shares a five-year-old daughter named Stormi Webster.
Jenner and Scott’s romance began in 2017 after the two met at the Coachella Vally Music Festival. Less than a year later the couple welcomed their daughter Stormi on February 1, 2018.
The couple ended up splitting in 2019 but continue to co-parent their children together. In 2020 Jenner referred to Travis as her ‘Best Friend’ in a Harper’s Bazaar interview.
When did Aire’s name change?
Jenner had announced their son’s name change as early as March of 2022. The ‘Kylie Cosmetics founder made the announcement casually on her Instagram at the time.
“FYI our son’s name isn’t Wolf anymore,” Jenner wrote. “We just really didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere.”
However, at the time the couple did not tell fans what their son’s new name would be.
