The Latin Grammys have been held in the United States since they were first held in Los Angeles in 2000.

While the event has shifted to different locations in the U.S. since then, the 2023 edition of the awards are set for a big change.

Where will the 2023 Latin Grammys be held?

The next Latin Grammy Awards will be held in southern Spain, with the ceremony shifting to the Andalusia region.

“Andalusia will host two major concerts this year, starting in September, and will host Latin Grammy Week in November,” said Andalusia’s Junta president Juan Manuel Moreno at a press conference.

“A week of top-level activities with at least eight major musical events will end with the awards ceremony. One week in which the most important Latin music stars will shine precisely in Andalusia.”

As for when the awards show would take place or where, no specifics were given, though the Latin Recording Academy says Seville is a possible location.

“We are considering Seville to celebrate the 24th Annual Latin Grammy Awards this November, but we are still working through the logistics with our partners TelevisaUnivision,” they told CNN en Español.

Seville is no stranger to large international events, having hosted the MTV European Music Awards in 2019.
