Madonna and Andrew Darnell reportedly split after five months of dating

After only 5 months of dating, Madonna and model Andrew Darnell have reportedly ended their relationship. The breakup is rumored to have occurred following a “crisis of confidence”.

It’s also suggested that the couple may have split amid controversy over the couple’s large age gap.

Madonna is 64 while Darnell is 23. This gives them a 41-year age gap, which has made many fans more than a little uncomfortable.

A source told Page Six: “It was only a very casual thing so she’s not broken-hearted. It’s just that it has come at a bad time.

“She’s having a bit of a crisis of confidence and this doesn’t help. She had a lot of fun with Andrew but it was never love or anything like that.”

Another source told Hollywood Life that, “She has never really let age affect her decision on who to date and who not to date and it is not like Madonna is going to settle down, nor does she want to.”

Unrecognizable at the Grammys

Following the 2023 Grammy Awards, some fans took to social media to comment on Madonna’s appearance, expressing that the singer looked “unrecognizable”.

Madonna responded on her Instagram: “Once again I am caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny that permeates the world we live in.”

She further went on to explain that her face looked odd and puffy due to the “long lens camera”.

In a lengthy post, Madonna said: “Instead of focusing on what I said in my speech which was about giving thanks for the fearlessness of artists like Sam and Kim- Many people chose to only talk about Close-up photos of me Taken with a long lens camera By a press photographer that Would distort anyone’s face!!”
