Nick Jonas praises Priyanka Chopra on Mother’s Day
The Jonas Brothers singer honored his wife via a social media post.
Priyanka Chopra received some special praise on Mother’s Day on Sunday.
Husband Nick Jones, along with their 15-year-old daughter Malti Marie, took time to praise the 40-year-old.
“Happy Mother’s Day my love. You are an incredible mother. You light up me and MM’s world every day. ❤️,” he captioned a picture and video of the mother and daughter.
The Citadel actress talked about her “work-life” balance during a recent appearance on TODAY’s spring cover.
“After that, I’m not available. We do bath time, storytime, bedtime,” she told the outlet. “And then it’s our time (for me and Nick), whether we … have friends over or just sit together and watch a movie.”
Chopra opens up about past dating habits
Chopra and Jonas met in 2016 and then married in 2018.
The actress recently opened up about her previous dating habits on the most recent ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast.
“I went from relationship to relationship to relationship,” Chopra said. “I did not give myself time at all between relationships, till my last one.”
“I always ended up dating the actors that I worked with or the people that I met on my set. I just thought I had an idea of what a relationship should be like, and I kept seeking that and trying to fit the people that came into my life into my idea of that relationship.”
She says that, in hindsight, she often took on the role of “caretaker” in a relationship, putting other’s needs above her own.
“I literally would become like a doormat and I was like, okay, that’s fine because, you know, that’s what women have been told for such a long time that our role is to glue the family together or you’ve got to make your man feel comfortable when he comes back home,” she said.
“I reached a point in my life where I was like, what the f*** are you doing? Like, this is getting self-destructive at this point when I had to choose me, I had to be like I don’t owe no one anything except my family and myself, the people who truly love me.”
However, she made it clear things are very different with Jonas.
“My husband makes me feel so seen and so heard and in fact, he thrives on seeing me shine, like he is the most excited about the shows I am doing, he is the most excited when I am on a carpet, he will step aside and he will take pictures of me,” Chopra said.
