The announcement posted on his Facebook page did not list the specific cause of death for the singer who was born in Chingford, East London, on 17th May 1958. However, the sad news from the music label shared that the lead singer of English Heavy Metal band between 1978 and 1981 had been “troubled by severe health issues in recent years that restricted him to performing in a wheelchair.”
