Sydney Sweeney takes subtle shot at cheating rumors with Glen Powell

Amid speculation that Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell are more than just costars, the actress poked fun at the rumors with a cheeky choice of clothing. The two have been spotted on several occasions filming the upcoming romantic comedy ‘Anyone But You’ in Australia.

In a clip shared by hairstylist Glen Oropeza and makeup artist Melissa Hernandez on Instagram on Monday, the ‘Europhia’ star is getting glammed up while wearing a tee shirt that says “Kiss the boys and make them cry,” from the brand That’s So Fetch.

Sweeney also shared an Instagram video of herself in the black and white crop top in a rooftop clip with the caption “pit stop in la la land.” The actress paired the shirt with baggy blue jeans and a black belt.

Sweeney and Powell’s on screen chemistry

Rumors of Sweeney and Powell first started when clips and photos of the two of them on set began to circulate on social media. Many fans of the actors began to speculate that the chemistry between the two of them was too strong for them to just be costars.

The on-screen couple’s relationships

However, Powell’s girlfriend Gigi Paris, who initially celebrated the news of the pair being cast in the movie together on Instagram, has now reportedly unfollowed Sweeney on the platform, only further fuelling cheating allegations.

Back in January when Sweeney posted a screenshot of the casting announcement from Deadline, Paris commented three party popper emojis. As well, the popular celebrity gossip Instagram account DauexMoi has since speculated that Paris and Powell’s relationship has been struggling since the beginning of filming.

Powell has been dating Paris since 2020, and they later confirmed their romance in 2021. The model attended the Golden Globes with Powell back in January.

Is Sydney Sweeney still engaged?

Despite the unfollow, it’s reported by multiple sources for TMZ, that Sweeney is still engaged to her fiancé Jonathan Davino. The two were first linked together in 2018 and reportedly engaged after Sweeney wore a diamond ring on her left hand in February 2022.

Although Sweeney has never publicly commented on their relationship, she has previously explained how she tries to keep her love life out of the public eye. She has also been spotted on vacations and events with Davino.

“I don’t date people in the spotlight,” she told Cosmopolitan in January 2022. “I don’t date actors or musicians or anyone in entertainment because I can just be normal Syd that way and it’s easiest. I have a great support system.”
