Taylor Swift almost faints during Eras Tour concert in stifling heat in Brazil
The “Bad Blood” singer postponed her second show in Rio de Janeiro after a fan died during the first at Nilton Santos Olympic Stadium.
Taylor Swift’s week-long run in Brazil couldn’t have got off to a worse start, with one fan tragically dying during her first Eras Tour show in Rio de Janeiro on Friday. The “devastated” singer herself took to Instagram to explain Saturday’s concert would be postponed due to “extreme temperatures,” which she was also seen struggling with as she appeared to be close to fainting on stage.
A heat wave has hit many parts of Brazil in recent days but many concertgoers complained they hadn’t been allowed to take water into Nilton Santos Olympic Stadium.
