Taylor Swift took time during her show on Friday night in Las Vegas, Nevada to praise Lana Del Rey. Swift is currently stopping in Las Vegas for two nights on her highly anticipated ‘Eras Tour.’

During her Friday show at the Allegiant Stadium, Swift paused to explain to her audience how highly she thinks of Lana Del Rey. The two have previously collaborated on Swift’s song ‘Snow on the Beach.’

Supporting a fellow artist

“Lana Del Rey put out a new album,” Swift pauses for the crowd to finish their applause before continuing.

“And it’s called Did You Know There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Boulevard and, it’s so good but you probably already know that,” she says while sitting in front of a piano on stage.

Swift continues her praise, “It’s just extraordinary… I just think she’s the best that we have, I think we need to make it a priority as a group to stream, buy, support this album and this artist.”

The ‘Anti-Hero’ singer also goes on to describe the friendship between the two, “and she knows I’m obsessed with her and she was kind enough to make a song with me on Midnights, called ‘Snow on the Beach,”

“It’s so cool when you have favorite artists and they turn out to be so nice to you!... and in honor of this brilliant album she just put out I want to play Snow on The Beach,” Swift explains before starting to perform the song.

‘Snow on The Beach’

The two previously collaborated on the fourth track of Taylor Swift’s latest album ‘Midnights.’ Swift and Del Rey also frequently work with the same producer, Jack Antonoff.

Swift has worked with Antonoff since her 2014 album ‘1989′ and also featured his band ‘The Bleachers’ on her song ‘Anti-Hero’ from her latest album. Lana Del Rey has collaborated with Antonoff on three of her studio albums and a spoken word album, ‘Norman Fucking Rockwell!,’ ‘Violet Bent Backwards over the Grass,’ ‘Chemtrails over the Country Club,’ and her latest album.
