Taylor Swift’s concert in Paris ends in controversy
Taylor Swift’s concert in Paris ends in controversy after an attendee chose to leave their baby on the floor of the venue. This is how the venue responded.
‘The Eras Tour’ by Taylor Swift has arrived in Europe. In recent days, the 34-year-old performer offered a total of four concerts at the Paris La Défense Arena, in Paris, France. Although most of the shows were a resounding success, especially after Travis Kelce’s surprise appearance in the crowd, one of the performances ended in controversy due to a fan’s lack of parental responsibility.
An image of a baby who appears to be asleep on the floor of the venue, in the standing section, has gone viral on social media. In the photograph you can also see a man standing next to the minor, although it was not revealed if he is the father or if he is related to the child.
The picture was posted by X user @jacnights13. As can be expected, the image sparked controversy on social media and opened a debate about how far some people’s fanaticism can go.

The venue responds to the controversy
Prior to the concert, the venue shared a series of regulations for Swift's show, ranging from prohibited items to the type of bags allowed. However, there were no specifications regarding young children in the regulations. Once the image went viral, the venue distanced itself from the controversy by emphasizing that all minors under 18 years of age are under the responsibility of a parent or guardian.
“The general terms and conditions of sale stipulate that all minors (without any age limit) holding a ticket for a concert at Paris La Défense arena must be accompanied by an adult,” explained a representative of La Défense Arena through a statement to Page Six.
“Under 18 children remain under their legal guardian responsibility, it’s venue policy. For spectators with a young child in the floor, an alternative seating arrangement has been proposed but refused by ticket holders.”
