The Dolce & Gabbana gift Miley Cyrus sent Selena Gomez
Miley Cyrus showed some love for Selena Gomez by sending her a special gift from the luxury fashion line.
Miley Cyrus made sure to send a special gift to singer and friend Selena Gomez following her recent shoutout on Instagram.
What gift did Cyrus send Gomez?
Gomez recently posted a bare-faced selfie on Instagram, in which she made reference to Cyrus’ recently released album, ‘Endless Summer Vacation’.
‘Violet chemistry,” Gomez captioned the post, which is the title of one of Cyrus’ songs.
“Stay awhile, don’t deny the violet chemistry / Stay awhile, stay awhile with me / Stay awhile, put your arms around me,” Cyrus sings in the song.
The caption was so well-received by Cyrus that she not only responded with a red heart emoji, she also sent Gomez a rather lavish gift.
Luxury fashion house Dolce & Gabbana are one of the collaborators for ‘Endless Summer Vacation’, and the company released a special edition of their self-tanner, Dolce Glow, to match the album’s theme of leisure.
Cyrus decided to send Gomez her own set from the ‘Endless Summer Vacation x Dolce Glow’ line.
“The queen sent me presents,” Gomez wrote in her Instagram stories as she held the lavish gift.
Cyrus later reposted the story with the caption: “You glow naturally, But I had to send you the ESV X DG collab because I love you.”
The singer shared her photoshoot picture with products of Dolce Glow just this past Friday.
“Wanna glow like me? Introducing the Endless Vacation x Dolce Glow box. Filled with my favourite DG products & an exclusive new product Acqua tanning face mist. Limited amount only,” wrote Cyrus with the hashtag ‘MileysGlow’.
Gomez hits Instagram milestone
News of Cyrus’ gift to Gomez comes after the ‘Only Murders in the Building’ star hit a significant milestone on Instagram.
After passing Kylie Jenner as the most followed woman on the platform less than a month ago, she recently became the first woman to reach 400 million followers.
There are still two people with more followers than Gomez on Instagram. Soccer stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have 563 million and 442 million followers respectively.
The news comes after Gomez returned to Instagram in January after she stated she had an unhealthy relationship with the platform.
“At one point Instagram became my whole world, and it was really dangerous. In my early 20s, I felt like I wasn’t pretty enough,” Gomez told InStyle.
“There was a whole period in my life when I thought I needed makeup and never wanted to be seen without it.”
