The list of celebrities who rejected the chance to star in Jennifer Lopez’s new movie

Jennifer Lopez’s new documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, premiered on Amazon Prime on February 27th. The documentary explores life behind-the-scenes as the Bronx Diva independently produces her new album This Is Me... Now and the accompanying music film, This Is Me... Now: A Love Story.

The singer’s latest film/visual album dominated the conversation upon its release due to its story, dramatic twists and top-tier cast, with appearances by Jane Fonda, Post Malone, Trevor Noah, Keke Palmer, Sofia Vergara, Neil deGrasse Tyson and Kim Petras.

However, major celebrities turned down the offer to appear and Lopez has shared who they are in her new documentary.

Taylor Swift turned down the chance to star in JLo film

In one part of the documentary, a producer tells the singer that Taylor Swift had turned down an undisclosed role, while Ariana Grande, Jason Momoa, Lizzo, Snoop Dogg, Jennifer Coolidge, Vanessa Hudgens and Khloé Kardashian were unavailable at the time of filming.

Lopez also said she wanted Bad Bunny to appear, but it was not revealed if her team sought him out. Despite the fact that they didn’t show up, Lopez claimed that she didn’t take it personally.

“I don’t wanna force anybody to do this who doesn’t go, ‘This is gonna be fun,’” she said. “People are scared. Scared to put themselves out there. I get it. Took me a long time. I’m scared. I don’t act like I’m scared, but that’s the secret to my whole f–king career” she adds, according to the report from Us Weekly.

The documentary also deals with the singer’s love life, detailing her breakup and eventual reunion with Ben Affleck. Although both actors are currently married, in the 2000s they called off their first engagement and revealed the reason.

“Ben and I broke up three days before our wedding,” J.Lo recalls. “We had a big wedding planned and three days before, we just fell apart under the pressure,” she adds. As for what happened, Affleck revealed that their split was due to “the enormous amount of scrutiny” surrounding their private life.”
