Travis Kelce reveals his Christmas plans: will he and Taylor Swift celebrate together?
The NFL star revealed his Christmas plans to People magazine: will Taylor be there?
Travis Kelce’s Christmas dinner will have to wait, and so will that of his brother. Both Kelce siblings are unable to sneak a few extra chocolates in during the run-up to Christmas as they know they have two huge NFL games while the rest of the family will be sitting round the table.
Travis and the Chiefs will host the Las Vegas Raiders while Jason and the Argo-, sorry, Eagles face off against the New York Giants. The Chiefs tight-end spoke to PEOPLE about his Christmas plans, saying that despite not being able to sit with his family and enjoy the culinary delights that the December holiday period brings, it will nevertheless still be “a fun one”.
Chiefs fans ‘always travel well’, says Kelce
The fans will not miss out on the game, despite the occasion, Kelce confirmed. “The kingdom always travels”, he told the website, “we always travel well”. Arrowhead Stadium holds 76,416 fans and during 2023, they were 12th in the NFL for fan attendance, with an average of 70,238.
“My brother sent me a text and said he’s going to be celebrating afterwards,” Travis told PEOPLE. He also confirming that he plans to celebrate after or the next day as well. The brothers’ parents, who are well recognised for routinely attending both of her sons’ games, will be once again at the stadiums, have not confirmed whether they will be able to make both fixtures: the Chiefs kick off at 1 p.m. ET and the Eagles start just a few hours later, at 4:30 p.m.
Is Taylor Swift going to celebrate Christmas with Travis Kelce?
Since Travis was tight-lipped on his own plans, given the game being on Christmas day, we don’t know if the couple will have time to spend the holiday side by side.
Swift’s Eras Tour has taken a small break until February when she will travel to Japan ahead of the European leg of her journey. So if we had to guess, we’d say there will be a hole in the post-Christmas calendar that could be filled.
