‘Vanderpump Villa’ show on Hulu: Where is the Chateau Rosabelle located?
The first episode of ‘Vanderpump Villa” is not available on Hulu. A look at Chateau Rosabelle, the site of the reality show’s latest spin-off.
Located in Mazerolles-du-Razès, France, is Chateau Rosabelle, the filming location of the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ spin-off, Vanderpump Villa. The show features a cast of handpicked crew members, who will, according to IMDB, “live and cooperate to satisfy each extravagant want of their affluent visitors.”
The show is a Hulu Orginal, and the first episode can be streamed on the platform. The show premiered on Monday, 1 April, and episodes will be released on Hulu on Monday nights for the next ten weeks.
A little about Chateau Rosabelle
The property is owned by the Roubieu family, who are self-described lovers of history, beauty, and traveling. The couple, Delphine and Frédéric, have visited over forty countries, and when they stumbled across Chateau Rosabelle, they “fell in love with this magnificent castle.”
“We made it our mission to preserve it, to beautify it, and bring it to life,” said the pair. Now the premise of the highly anticipated reality program, life is sure to be brought to the expansive estate. The property is used for hosting events, which is how it caught the eye of Lisa Vanderpump. Most notably, weddings are hosted at the Chateau, with the Roubieu’s touting “each wedding [... as] a special event, celebrated according to the French art of entertaining, in an exceptionally romantic setting.” With the help of a team of event planners, couples who opt to marry at Chateau Rosabelle can create a unique experience full of “magic.”
Château Saint-Joseph was built in 1879 in an L shape. On the left side of the building, there is a 120m² lodge that can accommodate twelve people. The center building, made from pink stone, contains “bedrooms, the dining room, and the state lounges.” The ceilings in the center building reach over three meters, and the molded ceilings perfectly match the gorgeous chandeliers.
Lastly, on the right side, sits a “large and beautiful tower,” which is where the reception room with a black-and-white checkerboard floor is located.
