Taylor Swift resumed her ‘Eras Tour’ with a show at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Friday night, and fans in attendance were treated to a switched up setlist.

The show is the first of three concerts at the venue this weekend, following stops in Glendale, Arizona and Las Vegas.

While those shows have revealed several details about Swift’s over three-hour show, she treated fans to some surprises on Friday.

What changes did Taylor Swift make to her ‘Eras Tour’ setlist?

“You think you can come prepared? You think you can just scroll and know the setlist?” Swift told the audience in attendance, setting the stage for some changes to her setlist.

‘Invisible String’ had typically been played to start the ‘Folklore’ segment of the show, but this time, Swift opted for ‘The 1′.

“You know, I’ve never played that song live before,” she admitted, marking the song’s live debut and debut on the ‘Eras Tour’ setlist.

Swift also performed ‘Sad Beautiful Tragic’ from ‘Red’ during the acoustic portion, introducing the song while strumming her guitar by saying: “I love this one. When I love a song, I don’t care what anyone says.”

She also played ‘Ours’ from ‘Speak Now’ after moving over to an upright piano at the end of the stage. ‘Ours’ is now the second song from ‘Speak Now’ to be performed during the tour, with ‘Enchanted’ having been performed at every night of the tour.

Up until yesterday, the only segment of the ‘Eras Tour’ what had regularly been changed was the ‘surprise song’ segment in which Swift played a different acoustic song, or two, during every night of the tour.

Swift was joined by GAYLE and MUNA for Friday’s show, with the Los Angeles-based trio making their first ‘Eras Tour’ appearance.

Made up of Katie Gavin, Josette Maskin and Naomi McPherson, the band made use of the entire stage while performing songs from their 2022 album.

“They’re all over every playlist of mine,” Swift said. “They absolutely killed it.”

Swift had a street re-named after her

Swift’s performance came after she had a street re-named after her earlier on Friday.

Randol Mill Road has been temporarily replaced by ‘Taylor Swift Way’, while the city will light up its four story steel sculptures in front of city hall in red through Sunday. Swift will also be presented the key to the city.

“The four-story steel sculptures in front of City Hall in Downtown will be lit ‘Red’ from March 31-April 2, which fellow Swiftie Mayor Jim Ross has declared as Taylor Swift Weekend in Arlington, Texas,” the city’s press release read.

“Ross will also present Swift with a Key to the City she can cherish ‘Forever & Always.’”
