Timothée Chalamet says there are no issues between Selena Gomez and his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, amid rumours of a confrontation between the pair at this weekend’s Golden Globes.

Claims made over Jenner, Gomez photo spat

Gomez was captured having an intense discussion with friends Taylor Swift and Keleigh Sperry during the awards gala, sparking speculation that she was filling them in on the alleged contretemps with Jenner.

Rumours spread on social media that Jenner and Gomez had clashed when the former prevented the latter from posing for a photograph with Chalamet.

However, Chalamet has told TMZ that there is “no” beef between Jenner and Gomez. He also replied “of course” when asked if everything is OK between him and the Only Murders in the Building star.

A source close to Gomez has also poured cold water on claims of a spat with Jenner, telling People magazine that she was “absolutely not referencing anything about Timothée or Kylie” during her chat with Swift and Sperry.

The insider added that Gomez “never even saw or spoke to” Chalamet and Jenner at the Golden Globes.

Gomez, Chalamet both beaten to awards at Globes

At Sunday’s gala in Beverly Hills, Gomez was among the nominees for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Musical or Comedy TV Series, for her role as Mabel in Only Murders in the Building.

The 31-year-old lost out to The Bear’s Ayo Edebiri.

Chalamet, meanwhile, had been nominated for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Musical or Comedy Motion Picture, for his turn as the titular character in Wonka.

He also came away empty-handed, with Paul Giamatti scooping the accolade for The Holdovers.
