Taylor Swift has been getting her breath back after a hectic but hugely successful 2023 in which the singer was named Person of the Year by TIME magazine. Last year, she sold 3.484 million vinyl copies of her 10 studio albums - which represented 7% of all vinyl sales in the US; she was the top artists on major streaming platforms with 26.1 million global streams during the 12 months from 1 January and becoming the first female artist to reach 100 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

On top of that were 60 sell-out dates on her globe-trotting Eras Tour which kicked off in Arizona on 17 March with 4.35 million tickets sold, grossing $1.04 billion to make it the biggest North American tour of the year ahead of Beyoncé, Morgan Wallen, Drake and Pink.

Eras Tour set to smash previous records

The 151-date Eras Tour is projected to become the highest-grossing tour of all-time by any single artist or group by the time it concludes in Canada in December. By then according to estimates, the artist will have earned $4.1 billion from ticket sales, merchandising and other related money spinners from the tour alone.

Taylor’s been enjoying a well earned rest since her last shows in Brazil at the end of November. It’s also given her time to focus on her personal life and blossoming relationship with Chiefs QB Kelce Travis.

The Eras Tour will be relaunched next month so the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer will be hitting the gym to get back in shape for her punishing three and a half hour show and the remainder of a whistlestop trek that will take her to Asia, Europe then back to the US. The first dates of 2024 will be in Japan - four nights at the Tokyo Dome, followed by a short rest then down under to Sydney with four shows at Accor stadium.

The Asian leg of the Eras Tour reaches a climax in Singapore before heading to Europe where Taylor will visit 13 countries from spring to summer including France, Spain, Italy, Poland, Austria and England. She will wrap up the tour in the fall with dates in Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis with the tour coming to an end in Toronto and Vancouver just before Christmas. Gracie Abrams has been confirmed as the opening act.
