When is Heartbreak High season 2 coming out on Netflix? Release date and times

Since the first series of Heartbreak high premiered in September 2022, the Netflix production which follows the students and teachers of Hartley High as they navigate racial tensions in Australia, high school romances, and all sorts of teen angst won an 2023 International Emmy Award.

Fans of the show are rubbing their hands with Series 2 set to be released on 11 April (with all eight episodes available) as a second term is upon us at the school as new faces join the teaching staff with a series of new pupils being added to the cast to offer fresh new storylines.

All the celebrated characters from series one showcasing the “lowest ranking school in the district” are back but love feuds, a new sports teacher and a mystery assailant, throw any hopes for a peaceful term into disarray, while the race for school captain is seeing dirty tactics run rife through Hartley High.

The debut season of Heartbreak High secured a passionate worldwide following for its honest depiction of what today’s teenagers face: from first love, sex, trauma and break ups to inclusivity, sexuality, neurodiversity, and the besties (or frenemies) who get them through it all.
