Who are the Saturday Night Live hosts who will appear on the SNL 50th anniversary tribute show?
The iconic show celebrates a half century with a special Sunday show set to commemorate the milestone.


Saturday Night Live made its debut on October 11, 1975, with George Carlin as host and Billy Preston and Janis Ian as musical guests and 50 years later, the show has become a cornerstone of US popular culture.
To celebrate it’s half-century landmark, NBC have commissioned a series of events to mark the milestone and these include an in-depth documentary series and a special edition of the show set to air on Sunday night (February 16).
Friday night also saw a “SNL50: The Homecoming Concert” at Radio City Music Hall in New York City which included the likes of Post Malone, Arcade Fire, David Byrne, Cher and Miley Cyrus perform.
Live hosts back for SNL special
The “Saturday Night Live 50th Anniversary Special” will start on 8:00 p.m. ET. The show, which is expected to last three hours, will be aired on NBC and Peacock and is expected to included a veritable who’s who of big names stars and formers hosts which include: Adam Sandler, Eddie Murphy, Tina Fey, Will Ferrell, Chevy Chase, Amy Poehler, Steve Martin, Chris Rock, Maya Rudolph, Martin Short and Robert De Niro.
